Political Science
requires the student to work in a structured core and develop skills
used by political scientists throughout the world. Students are
expected to complete research projects that Elective classes (in political science) allow the student to use skills gained in core classes in different subfields of Political Science and investigate phenomena in the political world. Unlike other universities, Truman’s political science (curriculum) is a tough, challenging, and rewarding major that have many opportunities after graduation. Being a political science major has helped in both my organization and argumentation skills. The Political Science curriculum is highly structured which helps the student to plan their future both at Truman and beyond. Also Truman Political Science graduates are highly competitive because they have accomplished far more in their undergraduate careers than almost all students at other universities. "
